If your bot is suspended
Why it happens, what it does and does not do, and how to get running again.
Why it happens
Almost always one reason: a commission invoice went unpaid past its due date and past the grace period that follows it. You will have had the invoice, a reminder, and the overdue notice before anything stops.
The other reason is a manual suspension, which only happens if something is seriously wrong and you would have been contacted.
What suspension does
Your bot stops serving. Anyone who messages it gets a short notice that the bot is temporarily unavailable, instead of its normal menu. No new subscriptions or payments are taken while it is stopped.
What it does not do
Nobody is removed from your channels and no subscription is cancelled. Your subscribers paid you in good faith, and throwing them out would turn a billing question between you and us into a refund question between you and them. They keep their place; they simply cannot buy or renew through the bot while it is stopped, and anybody whose time runs out in the meantime is dealt with in the usual way only once your bot is running again.
Your data is untouched. Plans, channels, subscribers, history — all of it is exactly where you left it.
Getting going again
- Open the dashboard. You will see the suspension notice instead of the usual pages.
- Sign in and go to Invoices.
- Pay what is outstanding — see commission invoices.
- Press I have paid this with the transaction reference.
Once receipt is confirmed your bot is reinstated automatically, provided nothing else is outstanding. You do not need to ask.
If you think a suspension is a mistake, say so before paying. It is easier to sort out before money moves than after.
