Questions and answers

All 42 of them. Everything here describes what the product does today.

Getting started

Do I need my own server?

No. You connect a bot you create with @BotFather and everything else runs here. There is nothing to install and nothing to keep running.

#
Do I need to know how to code?

No. Signing up is five steps, and each one asks a single question: your bot's token, your channel, your plan, your payment details, and a code you send to your own bot to prove it is yours.

#
How do I get a bot token?

Open @BotFather in Telegram, send /newbot, and it walks you through naming it. The last thing it sends you is the token — paste that in.

#
Can I use a channel, or does it have to be a group?

Either. How many you can connect depends on your package (channels and groups count together), and the pricing page shows each package's limit. Add your bot as an administrator with permission to invite users, and it can manage access to that chat.

#
How long does setup take?

Minutes, if you already have the channel. The slowest step is usually creating the bot in @BotFather.

#
Can I try it before paying anything?

Yes. The Free package costs nothing per month and takes 5% commission on what you actually earn. If you earn nothing, you owe nothing.

#

Taking payments

How can my subscribers pay me?

By card through your own Stripe account, with PayPal, with Telegram Stars inside Telegram, or with USDT to your own wallet. You switch on the ones you want and ignore the rest. All four are on every package, the free one included.

#
Where does my subscribers' money go?

Straight into your own account with whichever provider you set up. We never hold it at any point, which is also why commission is invoiced to you separately rather than deducted from your takings.

#
Which USDT networks can I accept?

TRC20, ERC20, BEP20 and Solana, on every package. You enter an address for each one you want to accept, and each is checked against that chain's own format before it is saved.

#
Which payments confirm themselves?

Card payments through Stripe once its webhook signing secret is saved, PayPal checkout once its Webhook ID is saved, and Telegram Stars. The provider tells us with a signed message we verify, and access is granted immediately. Everything else waits for you to approve it: USDT, which arrives on a chain we do not watch, manual payment methods (a paid-package feature) such as a bank or PayPal transfer you set up yourself, and Stripe without that secret. PayPal checkout without its Webhook ID is not offered to your subscribers at all.

#
How do I approve a USDT payment?

It appears in your payments queue, in your dashboard and in your bot, with the amount and the transaction the subscriber gave you. You check it and press approve; the subscriber is let in straight away.

#
What if a payment fails?

Nothing happens. No subscription starts and nobody is added to your channel. The subscriber can simply try again.

#
What about refunds?

You refund through your own provider, the same way you would any other charge — the money is in your account, not ours. Refunded amounts are not counted as earnings, so you are not charged commission on them.

#
Can I charge in a currency other than dollars?

Prices are set in US dollars. Stripe and PayPal show your subscriber their own currency at checkout, and Telegram converts to Stars.

#

Pricing and commission

What does TG Access cost?

Free: no monthly fee and 5% commission. Paid: $50 a month and 3%. Professional: $199 a month and 2%. MAX: $499 a month and 0% commission. The commission is the only other charge, and it is only ever on money you actually received. The four payment methods — card, PayPal, Stars and USDT — are on every package, the free one included. What the paid packages add is features: discount codes, messaging all your members at once, your own referral programme, selling services, products and courses, community and media tools, and manual payment methods you set up yourself and approve by hand, among others. Win-back offers start at Professional, and one plan opening several channels comes, today, only with MAX. The pricing page shows each package's price, commission and main limits, and your dashboard's package page lists every feature a change of package adds or removes.

#
How is the commission worked out?

On what your subscribers actually paid you in the period, minus anything you refunded. The rate in force when the period closes is the rate charged, and changing package later does not rewrite an invoice already raised.

#
How often am I invoiced?

Weekly. If you owe nothing for a period, no invoice is raised at all.

#
How do I pay my commission invoice?

In USDT, on TRC20, ERC20, BEP20 or Solana. Your invoice shows an exact amount — down to the cent — which is what lets your transfer be told apart from everybody else's. Send it, then paste the transaction number.

#
Why is the amount not a round number?

Because two people owing the same amount would send identical transfers, and neither could be matched to its invoice. The odd cents are how yours is recognised.

#
What happens if I pay late?

You get three days' grace after the due date, with reminders before and after it. After that your bot stops serving until the invoice is settled.

#
If my bot is suspended, do I lose my subscribers?

No. Nobody is removed from your channels and no subscription is cancelled. While your bot is suspended it answers with a short notice that it is unavailable, instead of its normal menu, and takes no new subscriptions or payments. It starts serving again the moment every open invoice is settled.

#
Can I change plan?

Yes. The new rate applies to periods that close after the change; invoices already raised keep the rate they were calculated with.

#

Subscriptions and access

What happens when a subscription ends?

Your bot removes that person from the channels the plan opened, by itself, on time. They are removed, not banned, so they can come straight back by renewing.

#
Are subscribers reminded before they expire?

Yes — three days before, and again the day before, in their own language. Each reminder is sent once.

#
What if someone renews early?

The time is added to what they have left. Renewing early never costs somebody the days they already paid for.

#
Can one plan open more than one channel?

On a package that allows several channels per plan, yes; today that is MAX: you choose which chats each plan unlocks, and a subscriber gets a separate single-use invite for each one. On the other packages it is one channel per plan — you can still sell several plans.

#
Can I give somebody free access?

Yes, with a redeem code. You generate one, they send it to your bot, and it grants a subscription without a payment. A single-use code cannot be used twice.

#
If I add a channel later, do old subscribers get in?

No. A channel added after a plan was sold does not widen what that plan already opened. You decide explicitly what each plan unlocks.

#

Running it

Do I manage this from the website or from Telegram?

Either. They are two windows onto the same thing: change a price on the dashboard and your bot is already selling at it; switch a payment method on inside the bot and the dashboard has it too.

#
Can I run everything from my phone?

Yes. Your bot has an owner panel with the same controls — plans, payments, subscribers and settings — so a phone is enough.

#
Can I create a plan without opening the website?

Yes. Your bot asks four questions — name, length, price, description — one at a time. A wrong answer is asked again on its own rather than starting over.

#
Can I hide a plan without deleting it?

Yes. Hiding takes it off the list your subscribers see and leaves everyone already on it exactly as they were.

#

Security and privacy

Who holds my bot token?

It is encrypted the moment you paste it and never shown again — not to us, not back to you, not in any log. You can replace it whenever you like.

#
Can TG Access see or touch my money?

No. Payments go from your subscriber to your own account, using your own keys. We record that a payment happened so access can be granted and commission can be worked out; the money itself never passes through us.

#
Can another customer see my subscribers?

No. Every record belongs to exactly one account, and that separation is enforced by the database itself rather than by remembering to filter.

#
What happens to my data if I leave?

Your channels and your subscribers are yours and stay where they are — they are in Telegram, not here. Ask us and your account's records are removed.

#
Is my payment provider key safe?

It is encrypted at rest and never rendered back into a page or written to a log. When you replace one, the old value is overwritten rather than kept.

#

When something is wrong

My bot is not answering. What do I check?

Three things, in order: that your account is active and has no unpaid invoice, that the bot is still an administrator of the channel, and that its token has not been revoked in @BotFather.

#
I sent my commission on the wrong network.

Tell us with the transaction number before you send anything else. A transfer to an address on another chain cannot be recovered by us, so the important thing is not to send a second one until we have looked.

#
My payment is still waiting for confirmation.

USDT and manual payments (a paid-package feature) are confirmed by a person, so there is a wait. Card, PayPal checkout and Stars confirm themselves within seconds — if one of those is still pending, the provider has not told us it succeeded, or, for a card payment, the seller has not saved the Stripe signing secret yet.
