Adding your channels and groups

Make your bot an administrator, then tell TG Access which chats a subscription should unlock.

A plan unlocks a set of chats, not just one. You might sell a plan that opens a signals channel and a discussion group together, and a cheaper plan that opens only the channel.

Make the bot an administrator

Your bot cannot invite or remove anybody until it is an admin of the chat.

  1. Open the channel or group.
  2. Tap its name at the top, then Administrators, then Add Administrator.
  3. Search for your bot's @username and select it.
  4. Give it at least Invite Users via Link and Ban Users. It needs the first to let people in and the second to take them out again.

If the bot is missing either permission, TG Access will tell you exactly which one when you try to add the chat.

Add the chat here

In the dashboard open Plans, and you will see your channels listed beside them.

Plans and the channels they unlock

Give the chat's @username for a public channel, or its numeric ID for a private one. To find a private channel's ID, forward any message from it to @userinfobot and it will reply with the number, which starts with -100.

Which plan unlocks which chat

Each plan has a checklist of your chats. Tick the ones that plan should open.

There is one rule worth knowing, because it protects your existing members: when a plan has no chats ticked, it unlocks the chats that already existed when that plan was created — not everything you own today. So adding a new premium channel next month never silently hands it to people who bought a cheaper plan last month.

Next: create the plans people will buy.
