Creating your plans

Name, price, duration and what each plan opens — from the dashboard or from inside your bot.

A plan is what a subscriber actually buys: a price, a duration, and a set of chats it opens.

From the dashboard

Open Plans and use the New plan form.

  • Name — what subscribers see in the bot. Monthly, VIP Yearly.
  • Price — a number. 29.99. Currency comes from your settings.
  • Duration — in days. 30 for a month, 365 for a year.
  • Description — optional, one line, shown under the name.

Press Create plan and it is live immediately: the next person who sends /plans to your bot sees it.

The plans page

From inside your bot

Send /admin to your own bot and you get a control panel nobody else can see. Choose Plans → Add plan and it asks four questions, one at a time.

Creating a plan, four questions
Send the new plan name:
VIP Monthly
Send the new duration in days (e.g. 30):
30
Send the new price in USD (e.g. 10.00):
29.99
Creating a plan inside the bot

Each answer is checked as you give it. A price of abc is refused straight away and you retype that one answer — you never start the whole thing again. A name already in use is caught the moment you type the name, not after all four questions.

Changing a plan

Every field on the plans page is editable in place: change the number, press the tick. Changes apply to new purchases. Somebody who already bought the plan keeps the terms they bought.

Hiding a plan

Press Hide from subscribers. It disappears from /plans in the bot and nobody new can buy it.

There is no delete button, and that is deliberate. Subscriptions and payments point at the plan, and the record of what somebody bought has to stay readable. Hiding does everything deleting would, without breaking the history.

Next: decide how you get paid.
